Our modular 2.4 kWh, 34 Ah, lithium-ion LytePacks supply the power for each LyteHorse. Each LytePack delivers 20 miles of driving range… and each LyteHorse comes standard with two LytePacks… adding up to 40 miles of driving range right out of the crate! For those who plan to ride longer distances… each LyteHorse can hold as many as four LytePacks… increasing the maximum range to 80 miles. We manufacture our LytePacks to the IP67 standard… which means our batteries are both waterproof and dust proof. And we program them for optimal power output, efficient charging, and safe operation.

Virtually No Mechanical Noise

It’s not just the lack of engine noise, but the lack of mechanical and motor noise, too, that makes LyteHorse revolutionary. With no axle, drive train, transfer case or gears, and innovations like the amazingly quiet polymer bushings, riding a LyteHorse is nothing short of a magic-carpet-like, noise-free experience.

Independent Hub Motors

The motors are in the wheels! Four powerful 3000 watt, high torque, hub motors (one in each wheel) put the power to the ground. Having motors in the wheels means no energy is lost turning axles or driving gears… every watt moves you forward. And all the weight of the motors is near the ground… helping keep the LyteHorse stable and creating a low center of gravity.
